Barney Gardiner

LTA Level 3 Coach
I have been a coach for about 7 years. I did a tennis coaching apprenticeship which helped me through my level 3. Once I passed my level 3, went straight into full time coaching and have been doing it full time ever since.
Really enjoy working with all ages and abilities, but I especially enjoy working with mini tots, mini red, and mini orange players.
I enjoy tennis as it was the main sport I played when growing up, I used to play football and rugby too, but tennis was always the one I excelled at.
Motivation to coach  – is being able to watch the players get better, no matter how small the improvement.
Favourite tennis player  – is of course Roger Federer, but I did enjoy watching Andy Murray win a few slams.
Hobbies – outside of tennis I enjoy socialising, going to the gym, and going on holiday.
Netflix Recommendations – Best things I’ve watched on Netflix would be, prison break, money heist, breaking bad, and power!
