BCC Boys walk away as winners of the BCC Kent Doubles Curcuit

Top seeds, Sam Stabler and Lewis Ryall survived a late comeback from 2nd seeds Tim Garner and Will Brownsdon to retain their Bromley Doubles Open title. Having trailed 2-0 in the final, Garner and Brownsdon rallied back to take the 3rd game. At 10-5 up in the 4th, Stabler and Lewis appeared to have the match all sewn up, only for Garner and Brownsdon to respond by taking the next 5 points and forcing a tie break! Both sets of players had multiple game and match balls, before Stabler and Ryall eventually closed out the game 17-15 and the match 3-1! The top seeds had earlier beaten surprise semi finalists, Marcus Robson and Jason Goodayle, 3-1, whilst the 2nd seeds had seen off Sam Henley and Declan Connor, 3-1

In the plate semi finals, Simon Scott and Max North beat Joe Magor and Andy Lewin, 3-0 to advance to the final, whilst James McMeckan and Sam McCarthy beat 3/4 seeds Duane Harrison and Neil Baker to take their place in the final. McMeckan and McCarthy made it a Bromley double by taking the Plate title, with a 3-0 win over Scott and North in the final.
