Dartford won the toss and elected to bowl on a two paced pitch that seemed to flatten out as the day went on. Bromley lost Grant in the second over leaving Bromley 20-2 when Barbosa got bowled for 10 a few overs later. Smit and Arafat put on a partnership of 78 until Arafat got caught on 39 and Smit soon following for a hard work 70. The captain James Butterfill managed to help put a respectable total on the board for the Bears with a not out 34 to reach 207/8 in 50 overs . Ian playfoot ending with figures of 10 overs 3/36 In reply Dartford capitalized on some poor seam bowling putting on 39 for the first wicket in quick time . Unable to pick up wickets, Smit and Butterfill did slow the run rate down bowling 18 overs for 57 between them as Butterfill managed to get 1 wicket .Poor fielding and dropped catches allowed Callum Jackson to score an unbeaten 102 as the hosts chased down 207 with an over to spare.
