Bromley Cricket Club is one of the leading cricket clubs in Kent & has a proud tradition going back 180 years. We have one of the finest grounds in the county with a top quality square which has recently been renovated & the finest of equipment including roll-on & lay down covers, a new heavy roller, two nets and an electronic score box.

Over the past few years we have been one of the most successful clubs in the country and a number of current and ex international players have graced our team including Alan Wells, Joey Benjamin, Brendan Nash & Daniel Christian.

The 1st X1 has won the Kent Premier League on numerous occasions & has only been outside of the Top Two on three occasions since 1990. We have also enjoyed great success in the various cup competitions. In 2007 we won the Cockspur National Cup beating Kibworth in the final, at the home of cricket, Lords. This win, Club Cricket's most prestigious award, made up for the disappointment of being the losing finalist the previous year. In addition our 1st XI won the London Evening Standard Trophy in 2005, at the Oval, and was beaten semi-finalists in 2006 & 2007.

The club has also won the Shepherd Neame Kent League 20/20 competition four out of the the six years that it has been running and our up and coming young players the Aero Development Sunday League in 2004 & 2008. The club has a particularly strong 2nd, & 3rd XI & our 4th team won promotion in their first year of league cricket in 2006.

The Colt's teams play a prominent role in the club with excellent performances over many years. Many colts have progressed to the 1st. XI & opportunities are given to them to play both friendly and league cricket & the senior sides.

Despite our strength new members of all abilities are always welcome as are scorers and umpires & contact should be made with Matthew Horder, Chairman of Cricket, or 1st XI captain, James Butterfill.
